The Chinese authorities executed a man who attacked an art school with a knife in Jiangsu province, according to Xinhua.
XU JIAJING launched an assault on students and teachers at the Vocational Institute of Arts and Technology in Wuxi City on November 16 of last year.
As a result, 8 people lost their lives, and 17 others were injured. In December, the court sentenced the attacker to death.
Earlier today, on January 20, another Chinese citizen was executed for mass murder, as reported by the South China Morning Post.
The Zhuhai court, located in Guangdong province, issued a death sentence for 62-year-old FAN WEIQIU.
In November 2024, the man drove into a crowd, resulting in the deaths of 35 individuals and injuries to 43 others. FAN WEIQIU crashed into people gathered at a sports center.
Immediately after the incident, the man attempted to flee. After being apprehended, he cut himself with a knife, and due to his injuries, he fell into a coma.
According to the investigation, FAN WEIQIU had divorced his wife and was dissatisfied with the division of property, leading him to unleash his anger on a crowd of people.
