Trump has submitted nominations for new ministers and a Secretary of State to the Senate.

Peter Hegset, a former American officer and host on the conservative network Fox News, is a potential candidate for Secretary of Defense. He has served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and at the Guantanamo Bay base. Hegset has frequently commented on the war in Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of achieving favorable conditions for Ukrainians in peace negotiations.

Trump also plans to appoint Marco Rubio as Secretary of State. Rubio has previously stated that Ukraine should negotiate with Russia and seek ways to achieve peace, rather than solely focusing on regaining all occupied territories.

  • Kristi Noem – Secretary of Homeland Security;
  • Brooke Rollins – Secretary of Agriculture;
  • Eric Turner – Secretary of Housing and Urban Development;
  • Christopher Wright – Secretary of Energy;
  • Tulsi Gabbard – Director of National Intelligence.

Additionally, Elise Stefanik may become the U.S. representative to the UN and the representative on the UN Security Council. She is a Congresswoman from New York and the chair of the Republican Conference in the House of Representatives.
