As of February 28, Ukraine has exported 28.853 million tons of grains and legumes since the beginning of the 2024/25 marketing year (MY, July 2024 - June 2025), with 3.162 million tons shipped this month, reported the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, citing data from the State Customs Service.
According to the report, the total shipments as of the same date last year amounted to 29.136 million tons, including 5.26 million tons in February 2024.
Since the start of the current season, the exports include wheat - 11.883 million tons (in 2023/24 MY - 11.449 million tons), barley - 2.124 million tons (1.597 million tons), rye - 10.8 thousand tons (1 thousand tons), and corn - 14.405 million tons (15.671 million tons).
The total export of Ukrainian flour since the beginning of the season, as of February 24, is estimated at 46.4 thousand tons (in 2023/24 MY - 73 thousand tons), including wheat flour - 42.9 thousand tons (69.3 thousand tons).
