The military registration process in Ukraine will become more convenient for individuals with disabilities. Yesterday, the government approved changes to the relevant regulations. This information was shared by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Kateryna Chernohorenko, on Facebook.
According to Chernohorenko, information regarding disabilities will be automatically displayed in the "Reserve+" application. She stated that the Ministry of Defense is already working on implementing this feature.
This will eliminate the need to undergo VLK or carry additional documents.
The procedure for determining unfitness is also being simplified:
- copies of documents confirming disability can be certified with a personal signature, without the need for a notary. However, this does not apply to medical documents;
- documents can be submitted through parents, guardians, or legal representatives;
- the VLK decision will be made without personal presence and medical examination, as the submitted documents will be sufficient.
The goal is for data to be processed automatically, not people. These changes are a significant step toward simplifying bureaucratic procedures. We will inform you as soon as the service becomes available in "Reserve+".
