On the night of February 16, Russian occupiers attacked Mykolaiv with Shahed-type strike drones. The attack resulted in a fire, and at least one injury has been reported. This information was shared on Telegram by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Vitalii Kim, and on the channel of the city's mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych.
In Mykolaiv, the drone attack caused a fire and damage to a store. Currently, there is information about one injured person. All emergency services are active.
Minutes later, Senkevych informed that municipal services had begun assessing the area to document and eliminate the consequences of the attack.

It is worth noting that in the last approximately two hours, several explosions were heard in Mykolaiv against the backdrop of the drone attack. In particular, the drones were intercepted by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
