According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, today, February 20, there have been 14 instances of clashes of varying intensity near the settlements of Promin, Pokrovsk, Serhiivka, Nadiivka, Bohdanivka, Sribne, Andriivka, and Ulakli, with one engagement still ongoing.
The enemy is continuously reinforcing their positions near Pokrovsk and launching assaults. This was reported during a national telethon "Unified News" by the commander of the drone aviation complex "SAPSAN" of the 2nd Battalion of the 68th Jaeger Brigade, known by the call sign "Furia."
"The enemy has directed their largest forces in our direction, as Pokrovsk is one of the largest cities in Donetsk Oblast and holds strategic importance. Therefore, the enemy aims to capture this city as quickly as possible..."
The situation remains very challenging, with the enemy constantly pulling in reserves and attempting to storm our positions with small groups. Even this morning, the enemy was moving their groups across open fields; they simply advanced without cover. We cannot understand what they were hoping for, given that they were neutralized within the first 10 minutes after being spotted.
And so the enemy continually draws in their reserves, accumulating them and clustering in small groups in some thickets. They then attempt to storm in groups of 10-15 individuals or try to cross and assault our positions with 2-3 people.
The enemy forces have not increased; their 35th and 137th Brigades, as well as the 1441st Regiment, are still engaged against us. There are partial reports that they have been reinforced by the 1338th Regiment, but we currently lack information on the numbers.
The enemy is operating without technical support, as their equipment can only provide cover from a distance of over 20 kilometers. They do not approach any closer...
The enemy has concentrated a significant number of drones in our direction on fiber optics. If one were to fly a "Mavic" during the day and look at the fields, they would see fields simply covered with fiber optic threads," reported the commander of the 68th Brigade.
