The situation in Pokrovsk remains stable, with no enemy presence in the area. Meanwhile, Russian occupiers are attempting to encircle the city but are far from achieving this goal. This was stated by the representative of the Operational Command "Khortytsia," Viktor Trehubov, during a telethon.

In Pokrovsk, the situation within the city is not evolving; it is stable — there is no enemy there. We have already had to counter misinformation circulating online suggesting that they have entered the city. This is simply not true.

According to the military official, the enemy is trying to gain a foothold in the terrain south of Pokrovsk to advance southwest of the settlement and cut off logistical routes.

What is happening in the settlements south of Pokrovsk includes places like Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysyvika, and Zelenе. There are ongoing battles and constant attempts by the enemy to secure this area, establish a base, and make progress. Their focus is not directly on Pokrovsk but rather on the southwest direction to sever logistical routes, primarily the roads leading from the Dnipropetrovsk region. Currently, the Russians are far from this objective, but they are making efforts.

He emphasized that the efforts of Ukrainians are focused on preventing the enemy from accomplishing this.
