The OKKO Group has updated 91 fuel filling stations (FFS) between 2022 and 2024, as reported by CFO Nazar Kubyda during the XXII Ukrainian CFO Forum in Kyiv on Thursday.

Additionally, since the onset of the full-scale war, operations have been restored at 37 damaged FFS of OKKO, while 19 stations have been lost and closed.

Kubyda specified that as a result of shelling, the group lost 18.5 thousand tons of fuel valued at $21.3 million, with overall losses estimated at $70 million. The shelling forced operations to be conducted on the move, resulting in a doubling of the tanker fleet.

In the sales structure of OKKO ($2.303 billion) last year, 72% came from retail fuel sales, 14% from wholesale fuel sales, 9% from non-fuel sales, and 5% from other sources.

Investment financing since the start of the full-scale war includes: bioethanol project – EUR 75 million, wind power plants – EUR 160 million, core business – 1.1 billion UAH.

According to the group's estimates, the retail market for petroleum products in Ukraine fell by 14.6% in 2023 compared to 2021.

Last year, six companies accounted for 55% of the retail market coverage. OKKO's share (405 FFS) was 19.4%, WOG (368 FFS) – 14.4%, BRSM (214 FFS) – 6.7%, "Aviass" (822 FFS) – 5.7%, UKRNAFTA (459 FFS) – 4.4%, and UPG (81 FFS) – 4.3%.
