In the Rivne and Volyn regions, widespread power outages have occurred, prompting schools to switch to remote learning. (UPDATED)

As a result of the attack on November 28, over 280,000 subscribers in the Rivne region and 215,000 subscribers in the Volyn region were left without electricity.

This was reported by the heads of the OVA Alexander Koval and Ivan Rudnitsky.

Due to the shelling in Rivne, there have also been disruptions in water supply. Schools in the city and parts of the Rivne region have transitioned to remote learning.

Updated at 09:35. In the Volyn region, approximately 215,000 subscribers are currently without electricity. All critical infrastructure that has lost power has been switched to generators.

Russians targeted critical infrastructure in Volyn with missiles. Currently, there is no information on casualties, only reports of damaged outbuildings.

The mayor of Lutsk, Igor Polishchuk, stated that electric transport is not operational in parts of the city. Students attending the first shift will be learning remotely.

Massive Attack

During the night and morning of November 28, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukraine using missiles and strike drones.

Explosions were heard in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lutsk, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kropyvnytskyi, Odesa, and in the Sumy and Volyn regions. So far, there is no information on casualties.

Ukrainian energy facilities were under attack. As a result, emergency power outages have been implemented.
