This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
They explained that in 2024, the status of "limited fitness" was abolished following the enactment of law №3621-IX, which means that such citizens must undergo the military medical commission (VVK) again. There are 4 statuses that a conscript may receive based on the results of the VVK:
If a citizen does not pass the VVK again, there will be no changes in the application "Reserve+." However, if a citizen ignores the summons from the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCK and SP) for a repeat medical examination, their status will be displayed as "Wanted" in the application.
Failure to undergo the repeated VVK while being classified as limited fit may result in a fine ranging from 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias.
This law was adopted back in March 2024. It not only abolishes the status of "limited fitness," but also regulates the mechanism for psychological support. In particular, it involves studying the psychological aspects of events during service investigations related to gender-based violence with the involvement of psychologists.
The law also provides for the possibility of receiving treatment for up to 12 months (including abroad) without going through the VVK, the option for military personnel to be dismissed for caring for a sick child under the age of 14, and leave for military personnel in the event of childbirth or after sustaining an injury.
