This is evidenced by the recording of his speech from the Oval Office.

“Across the ocean, we are strengthening NATO. Ukraine is still free. And we have outpaced China in the competition,” Biden stated.

In another speech from the U.S. State Department, he elaborated on the outcomes of foreign policy. According to Biden, it was his administration that “restored the people's faith in the United States as a true partner.”

He emphasized that today the enemies of the U.S., including Russia, are “weaker” than when his administration began four years ago.

“When Putin invaded Ukraine, he thought he would capture Kyiv in a matter of days. But the truth is, since the start of that war, I was the one standing in the center of Kyiv, not him,” Biden declared.

He added that Putin has yet to achieve any of his strategic goals: neither conquering Ukraine, nor disrupting NATO unity, nor seizing significant territory.

The American president mentioned the military support provided, “relentless unprecedented sanctions,” as well as the fact that his administration managed to unite 50 countries around Ukraine—not only in Europe but also in Asia.

In this speech, he also emphasized that Ukraine remains a free and independent country “with the potential for a bright future.”

“We have laid the foundation for the next administration to protect the bright future of the Ukrainian people,” Biden stressed.
