The U.S. Vice President stated that Ukraine has not had a single path to victory over the past three years.

U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated that Ukraine will not be able to defeat Russia due to its significant numerical advantage, and that European weapons supplies are reportedly depleted.
Вице-президент США заявил, что у Украины не было и нет ни одного пути к победе за последние три года.

He wrote about this on the social media platform X.

According to Vance, the lack of a path to victory for Europe, the administration of former U.S. President Joe Biden, and the Ukrainians "was true three years ago, was true two years ago, was true last year, and is true today."

He does not believe that the latest aid package for Ukraine will be beneficial, as the Russians have a "huge numerical advantage" in manpower and weaponry, and this advantage will persist "regardless of further aid packages from the West."

Additionally, Vance criticized European allies for their domestic policies "regarding migration and censorship," which allegedly "offend" the sentiments of the majority of Americans. He stated that the war is "bad" for Ukraine, for Europe, and for the United States. That is why, according to him, there is a need to strive for peace now.

"To call any acknowledgment that American interests must take into account the realities of the conflict 'appeasement' is lazy and disconnected from historical context nonsense," added the American vice president.

These remarks from Vance continue a trend of critical statements from American leadership towards Ukraine. Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of incompetence, claiming that he allowed "a war to continue that should never have happened, even without the United States."

Later, the U.S. President stated that Ukraine needs to hold elections, as the head of the Ukrainian state allegedly has only a 4% approval rating. When Zelensky responded by saying that Trump lives in a Russian "disinformation space," U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance warned him against "speaking ill" of the American leader.
