This was reported by the brigade itself.
On January 20, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the occupation of the settlement. As proof, the Russians released a video allegedly filmed in the area of responsibility of the Third Assault Brigade.
The fighters emphasized that the capture of the village is a fabrication of Russian propaganda aimed at creating an "illusion of success for Russia at the front lines of our brigade." They stated that the video released by the occupiers shows the settlement of Kovalivka, which they themselves had destroyed.
"Meanwhile, the commander of the 20th Guards Army of Russia, who has only captured Novoehorivka on paper, is actively erasing his units against the defense of the Third Assault Brigade. As of today, Novoehorivka remains under the control of the brigade," the military highlighted.
