Drones and missiles attacked Taganrog and Bryansk in Russia, potentially targeting a refinery and an aviation manufacturing plant.

On the night of December 11, the Russian cities of Taganrog in the Rostov region and Bryansk came under attack from drones and missiles.

This was reported by the head of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusar and the head of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz.

According to Bogomaz, a production facility caught fire in the city following a drone strike, but the fire has reportedly been extinguished. There are also no reported injuries.

Meanwhile, the Russian Telegram channel Astra quotes local residents who claim that the fire occurred at an oil refinery. The authors of the channel suggest that it was actually a fuel filling station of the Druzhba pipeline in a village near Bryansk that was on fire.

Additionally, authorities in the Rostov region reported a missile attack on Taganrog. An industrial enterprise was damaged there, and 14 vehicles were burned. However, there are supposedly no casualties.

The mayor of Taganrog, Svetlana Kambuloova, also stated that a boiler house was damaged, resulting in a lack of heating in 27 apartment buildings.

According to local sources, the aircraft manufacturing enterprise "Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after M. Beriev" was targeted, but there is no confirmation of this, writes Astra. Videos circulating online capture explosions and the sound of a siren in the city.

The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that air defense systems destroyed 14 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Bryansk region. However, they did not mention any explosions in the Rostov region.
