Trump's son stated that the war in Ukraine means "too little" to the United States.

Donald Trump Jr., the son of the U.S. president, stated that Russia's war against Ukraine means "very little" to the American people.
Сын Трампа отметил, что война в Украине имеет «слишком малое» значение для Соединенных Штатов.

He wrote about this on social media platform X.

U.S. President Donald Trump referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a "dictator without elections" and claimed that Zelensky allegedly "convinced" the U.S. to spend $350 billion in aid to Ukraine, which is supposedly $200 billion more than Europe.

Trump's son shared his father's post and commented: "He is not mistaken, folks. Let's stop the unnecessary death and endless spending on a war that means very little to us."

Recall that the day before, Trump asserted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has only a 4% approval rating, and that is why he insists on elections. According to Trump, the stance on elections is "not Russian," but "comes from him and many other countries."

In response, Zelensky referenced the latest survey data from the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), which indicates that as of the first half of February 2025, 57% of Ukrainians trust him.

Therefore, according to the Ukrainian president, "if [someone] wants to replace me right now, it simply cannot happen right now." He added that the information about 4% is Russian disinformation, and Trump, "unfortunately, lives in this disinformation space."
