Ukrainian Defense Forces have eliminated over a thousand Russian soldiers and nearly 30 armored vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

In the past 24 hours, on December 11, the Russian army reported 1,390 soldiers killed or wounded. Since February 2022, Russia's total personnel losses have reached 758,730 individuals.

This is mentioned in the report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The losses in equipment and armaments have also increased:

  • tanks — 9532 (+6 over the past day);
  • armored personnel carriers — 19,644 (+28);
  • artillery systems — 21,072 (+5);
  • MLRS — 1253;
  • air defense systems — 1023;
  • aircraft — 369;
  • helicopters — 329;
  • tactical-level UAVs — 20,111;
  • cruise missiles — 2861 (+2);
  • ships/boats — 28;
  • submarines — 1;
  • automotive vehicles and tankers — 31,127 (+54);
  • special equipment — 3642 (+2).

Ukraine's Losses

On December 8, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that in the full-scale war with Russia, 43,000 Ukrainian servicemen have died. At the same time, there are also reports of 370,000 instances of assistance provided to the wounded. According to Zelensky, 50% of the injured return to duty.

Previously, Kyiv did not disclose data on the losses among its servicemen. The Ministry of Defense had stated that information regarding the number of Ukrainian soldiers killed would remain classified until the conclusion of martial law.

According to calculations from the "Book of Memory of Those Who Fell for Ukraine" project, released in mid-November 2023, at least 30,000 Ukrainian fighters have died since February 24, 2022. Additionally, nearly 100,000 military personnel have been injured, but most of them were either on duty or were expected to return soon.
