It is expected that around 43 million euros will be allocated to several ongoing multilateral initiatives aimed at supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These initiatives may come from various coalitions, such as those focused on fighter jets, maritime security, demining, and IT.
As part of this amount, Sweden will also contribute to the NATO Fund for Ukraine, which procures military equipment.
Additionally, another 20 million euros are planned to be directed towards the development of the defense industry based on the "Danish model." This mechanism involves the procurement of defense equipment produced in Ukraine.
Previous support from Denmark under this model enabled Ukraine to produce 18 artillery systems.
Since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Sweden has already provided support amounting to approximately 57.4 billion Swedish kronor (nearly 5 billion euros).
Recently, Sweden announced a new package of humanitarian aid aimed at strengthening Ukraine's ability to endure the winter.
