This was reported by the head of the KGVА, Timur Tkachenko.
He explained that many abandoned vehicles create problems, particularly narrowing access for emergency services and detracting from the appearance of streets and courtyards.
As a result, the city will begin the removal of these vehicles. The mechanism to facilitate the removal of damaged cars in the future is expected to be developed at the upcoming meeting of the City Defense Council, noted Tkachenko.
Recall that, according to data from the KGGА, there were 500 air raid alerts in Kyiv in 2024, during which Russian forces launched nearly 200 strikes on the Ukrainian capital. Specifically, occupiers used over 1300 strike drones and more than 200 cruise missiles to attack Kyiv.
Throughout 2024, the capital endured 6 mass and 14 combined air strikes.
As a result of the Russian shelling, nearly 550 residential buildings were damaged. About 120 people were left without housing.
