Russians launched 62 drones over Ukraine, with more than half successfully intercepted.

On the night of October 30, Russian military forces launched an attack on Ukraine using a missile, 62 Shahed-type strike drones, and unmanned aerial vehicles of unspecified types. Ukrainian air defense units successfully intercepted 33 of the drones.

This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A missile of an unspecified type was launched from the Belgorod region of Russia towards the private sector of the Sumy region.

Meanwhile, drones were flying from the cities of Orel and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.

Additionally, Russian tactical aviation is continuously striking the frontline areas in the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk directions using guided aerial bombs.

The air assault was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces.

As of 7:00 AM, it is known that 33 enemy UAVs were shot down in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions.

An additional 25 drones have been lost location-wise. Information is being clarified and updated.

We remind you that in Kyiv, as a result of debris falling, a nine-story building caught fire. Nine people were injured, including a child.

The fire in the administrative building has also been extinguished.
