Russians deployed 57 drones and an Iskander missile in Ukraine, with half of the UAVs being intercepted.

On the night of January 29, Ukrainian air defense successfully shot down 29 Russian drones. A total of 57 unmanned aerial vehicles and one Iskander missile were launched towards Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

Drones were shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions.

Additionally, 14 Russian imitation drones disappeared from radar without causing any harm.

The Kyiv City Military Administration stated that debris fell in the Desnyanskyi district in an open area. As a result, grass and bushes caught fire. There were no reports of injuries or damage.

Due to a drone attack in the Krolivets community of the Sumy region, a farm building was damaged—animals were killed and injured, as reported by the OVA. Explosions after drone strikes were also heard in other parts of the region.

In the Odesa region, Russians targeted port infrastructure in the Izmail district, damaging buildings. However, there were no casualties or injuries, assured OVA head Oleg Kiper.

Using an "Iskander" missile from occupied Crimea, the Russians attacked Mykolaiv, hitting a private food industry enterprise. As a result of the attack, two women working there were killed.
