The occupiers launched three guided air missiles X-59/69 from aircraft over the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region. The Russians attacked with drones from the Kursk and Orel directions in Russia.
Additionally, the enemy's tactical aviation struck with guided aerial bombs in the Kharkiv, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The air assault was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 08:00, 31 drones have been confirmed shot down, 14 drones were lost track of, and three UAVs flew towards Belarus. The air defense also shot down one guided air missile X-59/69, while two other missiles did not reach their targets.
The air defense operated in the Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, Chernihiv, Odesa, and Poltava regions.
Preliminary results indicate that there were no casualties. However, as a result of the Russian missile and drone attack, several civilian enterprises were damaged due to falling debris, and multi-apartment and private houses were affected in the Poltava, Cherkasy, Kyiv, and Odesa regions.
