Россияне нанесли удар по Одессе, оставив целый микрорайон без света и отопления. Есть пострадавшие.

The city mayor, Gennady Trukhanov, reported this.

Additionally, due to the Russian attack, there are localized emergency power outages in parts of the Odessa region. Critical infrastructure is operating with the help of generators.

Following the attack, 14 schools, 13 kindergartens, and a large residential area—over 500 homes—are left without electricity and heating. Specialists are already assessing the damage and determining how long it will take to address the issues.

The children's clinic and kindergarten have sustained significant damage.

The city authorities are setting up tents. Early in the morning, the district administration will begin accepting applications from residents of the damaged apartments. Utility services are working to mitigate the aftermath of the attack.

As Trukhanov noted, one injured person is receiving assistance at the hospital.

Today, February 19, educational institutions in the Kyiv district, where there is no heat or light, will not accept children until the situation improves.

Heating points and resilience centers will be operational, where people can warm up, charge their gadgets, and enjoy hot tea.

Updated at 9:51. President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the strike and stated that rescue operations are still ongoing in Odessa following the attack on the energy infrastructure.

“Just yesterday, after the infamous meeting in Riyadh, it became known that Russian representatives lied once again about not striking energy facilities. Almost at the same time, such a strike occurred, with drone attacks on electrical transformers. And this is in winter, with temperatures dropping to minus 6 degrees Celsius at night,” he stated.

At least 160,000 residents of Odessa have been left without heat and electricity. Repair crews are at work.
