Russians blew up pipes of the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal to hasten their advance towards Chasiv Yar, according to the Lugansk Operational Tactical Group.

This was reported during a telethon by the spokesperson of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Lugansk," Dmitry Zaporozhets.

According to him, the occupiers blew up pipes to create passages for the use of equipment during the offensive on Chasiv Yar—possibly even motorcycles. Zaporozhets also noted that the destruction of the canal pipes could assist the occupiers in establishing logistics to support the advancing Russian forces.

Overall, in the past week, the enemy's pressure on the positions of the Defense Forces has significantly increased, the spokesperson of the OTU "Lugansk" added. Additionally, the Russians have become more active in using armored vehicles.

As for the Russian unit "Akhmat," which was previously spotted in battles in Chasiv Yar, Dmitry Zaporozhets stated that it is difficult to assess their training, as gunfights do not occur frequently. The enemy primarily exerts pressure on the positions of the Defense Forces using artillery and drones.
