According to preliminary data, the Russians used a FAB-250 bomb. A residential area was hit in the attack.

As a result of the strike, an 18-year-old local resident sustained injuries that were incompatible with life.

Additionally, a 34-year-old man and an 88-year-old pensioner were injured while in their homes during the shelling. They were diagnosed with mine-blast injuries, closed head trauma, fractures, facial wounds, and bruises. Medical assistance has already been provided to them.

Law enforcement has initiated a pre-trial investigation into the commission of a war crime (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to data from the Donetsk Regional State Administration, another resident of the Donetsk region was killed in Malinovka on March 1. Also, five people were injured in Pokrovsk, Belitsky, Ivanopole, and Nova Poltavka.
