Russia has lost another thousand soldiers and 22 artillery systems in the war against Ukraine, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the past 24 hours, on November 27, the Russian army has suffered the loss of an additional 1,220 soldiers, either killed or wounded. Since February 2022, Russia's total personnel losses have reached 736,630 individuals.

Losses of Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelensky first disclosed the losses of the Ukrainian army on February 25: according to him, over the two years of full-scale war, 31 thousand Ukrainian soldiers have died. He did not specify the number of injured to keep Russia unaware of Ukraine's personnel on the battlefield.

Previously, Kyiv had not disclosed data on the losses among its servicemen. The Ministry of Defense stated that information regarding the number of fallen Ukrainian fighters would remain classified until the end of martial law.

According to estimates from the "Book of Memory of the Fallen for Ukraine" project, released in mid-November 2023, at least 30 thousand Ukrainian fighters have died since February 24, 2022. Up to 100 thousand military personnel have been injured, but most of them are still in service or will return to it soon.
