Air defense forces shot down 36 Russian drones, while 5 others managed to escape to Russia and Belarus.

On the night of November 27, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using 89 Shahed strike drones and unmanned aerial vehicles of unspecified types. A total of 36 targets were successfully destroyed.

This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian troops launched drones targeting the regions of Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, located in the Russian Federation. The attack was repelled by the aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces.

Ukrainian air defense successfully shot down 36 attack drones in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Mykolaiv regions.

Additionally, 48 drones were lost due to electronic warfare actions, and another 5 headed towards Russia, Belarus, and temporarily occupied territories.

As a result of the attack, private and multi-apartment buildings, as well as civilian property, were damaged in Kyiv region. In Kyiv, two people were injured due to debris falling from drones in the Dnipro district.
