They stated that currently, 600 searches are being conducted simultaneously across the country by the employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations. The National Police emphasized that this is only the first phase of a special operation aimed at closing off the channels for exporting conscription-age men abroad.
Law enforcement is focused on exposing the organizers and participants of groups that assist men in crossing the border outside official checkpoints. According to available information, these routes have facilitated the illegal crossing of the border for hundreds of individuals liable for military service.
The police also added that details of the special operation will be disclosed upon the completion of all investigative actions.
