This was reported by the National Police and Ukrzaliznytsia.
Searches will take place at the homes of officials involved in the schemes, at the office of the Ukrzaliznytsia division, as well as on international trains during their departures and arrivals.
Law enforcement officials are requesting passengers to assist them, while the company apologizes for any potential additional checks or delays in movement, assuring that they are working to minimize them.
Ukrzaliznytsia stated that the police coordinated their actions with them. According to their representatives, the goal is to "stop the activities of an organized crime group that has been 'parasitizing' on ordinary railway workers."
Recall that back in 2023, the company announced that within a month it had blocked over 600 accounts used by speculators for mass ticket purchases for Polish routes.
They also reached an agreement with OLX Ukraine that the platform would block all advertisements for the sale of train tickets to hinder the activities of speculators and fraudsters.
