Nearly fifty drones and a ballistic missile: The Air Forces report on the nighttime attack in Ukraine.

On the night of October 29, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using 48 drones, including Shahed-type drones, as well as a ballistic missile, Iskander-M. The air defense managed to intercept 26 of the drones.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this information.

Russians launched an attack on Kryvyi Rih using an "Iskander" missile from the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, while 48 drones were deployed from Russian cities of Orel and Kursk.

Air defense systems were active in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions. A total of 26 enemy drones were shot down, 20 disappeared from radar, and one returned to Russia.

According to the regional military administration, 14 people were injured in Kryvyi Rih due to the missile strike, with one in serious condition. Additionally, one person lost their life.

Following the attack, a fire broke out in the city but was quickly extinguished. Eleven apartment buildings, a clinic, a school, and an administrative building sustained damage. A gas pipeline was also affected.

Other consequences of the attack

In Kyiv, debris from Russian drones fell in the Solomianskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts. In the Solomianskyi district, residential buildings and several vehicles caught fire.

Subsequently, a gas pipe ruptured on the facade of a nine-story building in the residential area, leading to a fire in a nearby store. All fires were extinguished. Reports indicate that six people were injured.

Additionally, around 3 AM, Russian forces struck Kharkiv with a hybrid of a missile and a planning bomb "Grom-E1". It hit a private house, from which the bodies of four deceased individuals were recovered from the rubble.
