In Kyiv, drones approached in waves from various directions. Air raid alerts sounded twice throughout the night, lasting a total of two and a half hours. The forces and means of air defense and electronic warfare neutralized all Russian drones threatening the city.
In the Podil district, debris from a UAV fell on a construction site, igniting grass over an area of 50 square meters. The fire was extinguished.
Additionally, windows were damaged in two two-story residential buildings and one administrative building in the capital. Preliminary reports indicate damage to a high-voltage power line.
There were no casualties.
The Kyiv City Military Administration noted that in 31 days, there was only one day when no alert was declared in the capital. Typically, residents of Kyiv heard sirens an average of twice a day throughout October. In particular, there was an attack the day before: debris from Shahed drones damaged a high-rise building. Nine people were injured.
