Occupants launched an overnight attack on Mykolaiv, injuring a man and damaging critical infrastructure.

This was reported by State Emergency Service and Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

The head of the regional administration, Vitaliy Kim, noted that it was a massive attack. Air defense systems destroyed 9 Shahed 131/136 drones over Mykolaiv region.

Around 1:00 AM, explosions were heard in Mykolaiv. As a result of the drone's fall and debris on one of the city's critical infrastructure facilities, there was damage and a fire broke out.

A total of 11 units of special equipment and 58 rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire. The duty shift of the operational coordination center, chemists, pyrotechnicians, and law enforcement officers were also working at the site.

Due to the debris falling and the blast wave, five apartment buildings, at least four shops, a dining establishment, and office premises were damaged.

A 64-year-old man was also injured and has been hospitalized. His condition is currently stable.
