A source from hromadske reported this in the Main Intelligence Directorate.
According to our informant, the oil refinery was attacked around midnight. Local residents claimed there were at least three explosions at the plant; however, the GUR states that all four drones launched at the target hit their mark.
As a result, the oil depot sustained significant damage. It supports the operations of Russian troops engaged in combat in Ukraine.
Let us recall that on the night of January 29, Russia announced a massive attack involving more than a hundred drones. In particular, an oil depot was struck in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region. Russian Telegram channels reported that this refers to the "Lukoil-Nizhny Novgorodnefteorgsintez" plant—one of the largest oil refineries in Russia, which had already been attacked in the spring of 2024.
