Macron and Starmer are set to meet Trump separately. The White House has announced the dates for these meetings.

French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer are set to meet with American President Donald Trump in Washington.

The statement was made by White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, writes Reuters.

According to her, the meetings will take place separately and not on the same day. First, on February 24, Macron is set to visit the White House, followed by Starmer on February 27.

Previously, Mike Waltz, an advisor to Trump on national security, reported that the French president and the British Prime Minister intend to meet with Trump.

These visits will occur after two urgent summits of European leaders in Paris, initiated by Macron, against the backdrop of a statement from the U.S. President's special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, that Europe will not participate in negotiations.

Participants in the meetings in Paris supported Trump's desire to end the Russian invasion of Ukraine, emphasizing that peace should be lasting and accompanied by reliable guarantees.

At the same time, the Telegraph, citing sources, reported that at an emergency meeting in Paris on February 17, European leaders were presented with an Anglo-French strategy for peacekeeping forces. According to the publication, this strategy is now planned to be presented to the U.S. President. The strategy, as reported by the Telegraph, involves the deployment of 30,000 European troops in Ukraine to ensure a ceasefire.
