This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania.
They noted that Lithuanian military trucks, locally produced drones, thermal cameras, and five-ton telescopic loaders have arrived in Ukraine.
Previously, LRT journalists discovered that nearly 5,000 drones worth 5 million euros are still stored in warehouses in Lithuania, which the country had promised to manufacture and deliver to Ukraine by the end of last year.
The former Minister of Defense of Lithuania, Laurynas Kasčiūnas, stated that the delay is due to bureaucracy.
Lithuanian Minister of Defense, Dovilė Šakalienė, assured that the 4,500 drones purchased from Lithuanian manufacturers for Ukraine will be sent by January 20.
According to her, an expedited procedure for the transfer of state property was approved at the last Lithuanian government meeting. This will allow for a reduction in time and enable rapid assistance delivery to Ukraine.
